Emi's Bert. Woah, long time, no sketches! Yeah, I kind of let the whole computer-augmenting thing get the better of me, there. This is a sketch I drew for Emily of Bert McCracken, the singer of The Used. I'm not familiar with The Used AT ALL, but I know Emily lurves him, so I looked him up on the gosh-forsaken internet. I stared at a bunch of promo pics that made him look like a serial killer and started a-doodlin'. I TRIED to come up with something for him to do with his hands, but hands are a tricky mistress on some days, so they were left out. What you see here I penciled in under 30 minutes, then digitally erased my hand smudges and the icky hands. When I draw fast, I draw dark for some weird reason. I'm not too sure about the similarity between this sketchy-poo and what Bert actually looks like, but doesn't this guy look like SOMEBODY? The face definitely has character in it. Well, Emi likes it and that's what matters. Enjoy, kiddo!
