The Black Cat. Just finished this sketch on August 24, 2004. I don't know what made me do it, except that perhaps it was the Black Cat's appearance in the Spider-Man Marvel Knights mini series. This version of the Cat is of course in salute to the artists Rachel and Terry Dodson, whose Black Cat drawings are the absolute sexiest ever. I did my best to capture their style and their Black Cat outfit. I think it came out pretty darn good. I tried to down-play the breasts a little (that outfit shows quite a bit of skin) by showing her from the side, and giving a bit of emphasis on her shoulder. I really like her body language in it, especially since it is a 100% original image and not copied from anything, and body posing is a huge problem area for me. Enjoy!
