Woodcut Portrait. This "portrait" was made for layout 10, "black & white & red all over." I was going for a sort of Victorian inspired theme. I pencilled this using various 19th century portraits I found online as reference. This is pencils only; I did not ink it. I scanned it, increased the contrast to darken the lines, then imported to Corel Draw. In Corel, I added the oval and the banner. I got the banner from a font called Calligraphic Ornaments, which quite a handy font to have.
