I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who gave me drawing requests when I opened myself up to them. Back in September, I put out an open call for people who wanted me to draw things for them, and I cannot believe the positive response I got! I honestly thought I'd have one or two. No one would really care or be interested. Boy was I wrong! I was drawing things for other people into the new year! It even got to the point where I had to start refusing due to the fact that I thought it would never end. I mean, drawing things for other people is nice, but when you start to get ideas for your own stuff, but cannot do it out of some feeling of obligation to the kind other folks who are waiting for you, then it starts to be less fun. I drew so many fan fiction and original characters in this time. Woo, you folks and your fan fiction.
Even though I haven't drawn any requests since I stopped taking them in February, I never got around to properly thanking everyone. It is such a great compliment to know that my art style is not only nice for you to look at, it is also good enough for you to specifically request it. For a guy who simply does this for the giggles, and has had no real training in it, that really feels swell. I can feel the feels deep in my code.
