Our founder, Sir Bloody William Salutations, traveler of The Internets! Welcome to William's Bloody Hell, so named after our founder, Sir Bloody William. He is seen in the likeness above in a rare, 19th century woodcut. This image was rumoured to have been commissioned after a bout of unpleasantness in the White Chapel district of London. Do enjoy your stay and peruse our many, varied offerings, much of which cannot be found elsewhere!

Check it out: it's a whole new year! As we all welcome 2011 into being, I'm going to take a moment and look back over 2010. Yes, it's come to this.

William's Bloody Hell RETROSPECTACULAR!

In 2010 I wrote forty-six total Rants! It would have been more, but I took an extended amount of time off to go on a fantastical GOTHIC VACATION, which everyone is still envious over, but I thought I'd mention it again as it was a significant event of the year for us all and, yes, that includes you (amazingly long sentence!). Within these Rants, I came up for the Interview Swap, a new feature on the site and got two participants (you can do it, too!)!! Going back over the topics in the Rants, I am only now realizing that I NEVER ONCE talked about anything supernatural. Huh. A whole YEAR without philosophical writings concerning zombies? How did THAT happen? Plenty o' talk about movies, music, comics, and such over the course of the year, though!

Of course, probably the biggest event to hit this site over 2010 was the major layout revamp in March to Version Ten: Black & White & Red All Over! I still cannot believe I managed to code an ALL DIV layout like this. Of course, many of my dutiful friends and followers helped me along the way by previewing it before it went live to make sure it looked right and giving me coding help even before THAT. An issue has recently cropped up concerning how the main navigation displays in SOME browsers. The navigation should be all ONE LINE with "Links" on the farthest right. If you are seeing "Fine Print" on the far right instead, please let me know and tell me your browser info so that I know who is affected. Even better, if anyone reading this has any coding tips to fix this wacky and random issue, PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOODNESS contact me! I'll see if I can't make it worth your while, maybe? Other than this odd glitch, version ten is by far my most favourite layout for this site to date!

Unfortunately, 2010 wasn't a good art year for me. I only added three "Williams' Bloody Hell" Comic Strips, but I did have the unprecedented opportunity to contribute a GUEST COMIC for Agents of the Endtimes! That was certainly an honour, as I had recently drawn several bits of fan art for that comic! Three out of the mere six finished drawings I managed to produce in 2010 were AotE fanarts, as a matter of fact. One of my other drawings in 2010 did manage to somehow win a contest! Night of the Fallen Angel Radio held a design contest and mine won! They used the image I came up with as a background on the radio chatroom for a few months and said they'd put it on T-shirts, too! The last decent thing I drew in 2010 was the Desirae Passions movie poster in a bit of fan art for Alone in a Crowd. I'm still rather pleased with that one.

I wrote a few reviews this year as well! Out of what I reviewed in 2010, these are the things that I HIGHLY recommend: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, How to Train Your Dragon, Kick-Ass, Toy Story 3, the Coraline comic book, Carmichael's Dog a novel by R. M. Koster, and the television programme 30 Rock season 1. Also, the Deluxe of edition of Disintegration, only I didn't review it, but it is so wicked that you will become one with the universe. So, you know, check that shit out. Coz I said so. OBEY!

Yep, that was basically a "clip episode" of random highlights to serve as filler content! ...or maybe it was done more in the style of the traditional Japanese year-end specials? That does sound a smidge classier. Lets go with that coz I'm all multicultural and shit.

William the Bloody (with apologies to Infomania)
