:: Today's soundtrack: New Order "Shellshock" ::

OK, soon after I did the Buffy Continuity Rant, I had come up with some others which I should have included. I decided to wait on posting them to see if I would come up with more, and also to have a stand-by if ever I should lack an idea. So hey! you're getting my back-up rant! Don't you feel special?

If vamps don't breathe, as explained in season 1, Prophecy Girl episode, then how the heck do they smoke?? Also, what was The First trying to prove when it was "torturing" Spike by dunking his head under water?

When Spike was captured by the Initiative and given that chip in his brain to stop violence against humans, how does he fight his way out of their compound? It didn't occur to me this first time I watched it, because I didn't know to look for it. But then I watched the DVD and I paid close attention to see if maybe he was just running and dodging, but no. Then I listened to the commentary and he noticed it too! Why didn't they fix it?

Alright now onto the biggest most unexplainable; the whole "Key" thing. So Dawn is actually magical energy which can be used to open inter-dimensional doors. Fine. But what I don't get is if the Key could have been made into anything at all like a tree or a rock (as mentioned by Glory), then how come it has to be Dawn's blood to open the doors? A tree or a rock doesn't have blood. And when Dawn was created, the monks used some of Buffy to do it. OK. But that still doesn't explain why Buffy's death closes the doors, especially if Dawn is still bleeding and they're only supposed to close when the bleeding stops. Maybe if Buffy were also bleeding and her bleeding stopped when she died, but I don't think so.

And in the episode Normal Again, while a great episode, does pose some questions. Buffy said that after she saw her first vamp and told her parents, they had her committed for a week. I want to know how this couldn't have been brought up before then. Like for instance, in Becoming part 2 when Buffy teams up with Spike and the dust a vamp right in front of Joyce. Joyce then gets the whole "I'm the slayer" run down from Buffy. If Joyce had committed Buffy for believing in vamps a few years ago, shouldn't she had apologized?

Oh, I don't know. Maybe I think too much. I think I'm getting a nose bleed...
